Second base was a revolving door for the Mets, but it was filled most capably, perhaps, by Dasher Troy in the championship season of 1884. As far as I can tell, there was never a baseball card made of Dasher Troy, and there is no photograph in existence that anyone else knows about either. I made a "pretend" card of the diminutive second baseman so he would be represented at the Hall of Heroes; click on the golden button below to see it.
