Bob Aspromonte
Robert Thomas Aspromonte
Batted: Right
Threw: Right
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 185 lbs.
Born: June 19, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY
Signed: 1956 by the Brooklyn Dodgers
Acquired: traded from the Atlanta Braves for Ron Herbel, December 1970
Departed: released, October 1971
I believe Bob was the last of the old Brooklyn Dodgers to still be active in the major leagues, though his tenure in his home town was admittedly brief: one game, one at-bat, and one strikeout. This 1969 Topps card shows him as a member of the Atlanta Braves. He had his best years for Houston, though; below the stats box he is pictured as a member of the expansion Colt .45s.
