Pitched for the Phillies in 1964, when they came up just short of the World Series with a disastrous finish. Was a member of the Red Sox' staff during their "Impossible Dream" season of 1967, but was traded to the lowly Mets before the season was over. When the Amazins' had their miracle season just two years later, Dennis was out of baseball. As Maxwell Smart would have said, "Missed it by that much." Pictured is Dennis' card from the 1978 TCMA set called The 1960's.
