Died: December 25, 2007 in Atlanta, GA
A feared slugger in the minor leagues, Jim was not able to translate that into much big-league success, but was still a respected bench player for several seasons, finishing his career with the Mets in the 1973 World Series. Jim also went to the post-season several times as a coach for the Atlanta Braves. Pictured here is the earliest of his three "Rookie" cards, from 1964 Topps.
