Departed: traded to the Montreal Expos with Luis Figueroa, Dicky Gonzalez, and a player to be named later (Saul Rivera) for Scott Strickland, Phil Seibel, and Matt Watson, April 2002

 

Obtained by the Mets near the 2001 trading deadline along with minor leaguer Adam Walker for bullpen stalwarts Turk Wendell and Dennis Cook, and traded away in the first week of 2002 for more bullpen help, in the form of Scott Strickland. If you'll take a look at Bruce's stats below, though, you'll see that getting traded was not exactly a rarity in his career!
