Kelvin was the Opening Day second baseman for the 1979 squad, but after only 35 games was sent back to the minor leagues, not to resurface for almost five years. He later shared second base with Wally Backman for a couple of seasons just prior to the 1986 World Championship. He's pictured here on one of his several TCMA Tidewater Tides cards.
