Vince started out with three straight seasons of 100+ stolen bases; he is the only one in history to have achieved that feat. The Mets brought him to New York to try and fill Darryl Strawberry's shoes in 1991; boy, was that ever the wrong idea. He did lead the Mets in steals each of the three seasons he spent in New York, without ever playing in as many as 100 games.
