Francisco Estrada

Francisco Estrada Soto
Batted: Right
Threw: Right
Height: 5'8"
Weight: 182 lbs.
Born: February 12, 1948 in Navojoa, Mexico
Acquired: from the Mexico City Reds in an unknown transaction, circa 1971
Departed: traded to the California Angels with Don Rose, Nolan Ryan, and Leroy Stanton for Jim Fregosi, December 1971

This catcher retired with a lifetime .500 batting average, one of the highest in the long history of baseball. Of course, he only came up to bat twice. The only card that I know of that he ever appeared on was from the 1991 WIZ Mets set, which is shown here.
