Bartolome came to the Mets along with Victor Zambrano in the trade that sent Scott Kazmir to the Devil Rays. *Sigh.* After missing the entire 2005 season with an injury, he came back to make two appearances in 2006 and was immediately shut down again, undergoing Tommy John surgery. He's pictured here on a card showing him to be an Appalachian League All-Star in 2000.
