Wayne appeared on the 1977 Fritsch set called "One Year Winners" despite the fact that he actually participated in two seasons. After his playing days ended, Wayne became the champion head coach for the Rice Owls college baseball team; one of his pitchers was future Met Phil Humber. Shown here is his card from the 1991 Mets set produced by the electronics company Nobody Beats the WIZ.
