Something of a surprise when he was called up as a 28-year-old rookie in August 2005--the surprise was on him, though, when he got sent back to Norfolk before he even got to the ballpark! He did make his debut in a Mets uniform in September. Shown here is his Norfolk Tides card from the year of his big-league debut.
