 Just as I did earlier with Bill Dickey, I some time ago stumbled upon the information that Tommy Holmes was apparently some kind of coach with the Mets in the early 1960s, although no official source lists him as having been a member of the coaching staff. But the autographed photo at the right clearly shows Tommy in a New York Mets uniform. At the very least, he was a member of the Mets' front office for over thirty years, mostly as Director of Amateur Baseball Relations, retiring in 2003.
