In his four seasons with the Tigers in the 1950s, Bob twice had ERAs of under 2.50, and twice had ERAs of over 5.50! Six years later he came back to the majors for one last fling and gave up more than 10 runs per game. Hmm. He's pictured here on 1956 Topps.
