This former White Sox manager took over as the Mets' first-base coach in 2005, then the next year joined Willie Randolph in the dugout as his bench coach. The 2008 season saw him handed the managerial reins. In parts of five seasons as a player, Jerry compiled a career batting average of .150. Which is better than you did.
