One of the twenty or so greatest players ever to put on a big-league uniform. Willie began his career with the New York National League team (the Giants, that is), then moved west when that franchise went to San Francisco. He built his Hall of Fame résumé there, then returned home to New York to finish his career with the Mets. The last hit of his superlative career came for the Mets in the 1973 World Series, a fitting farewell for one of the all-time greats in baseball history. The Say Hey Kid is pictured here on his 1964 Topps Giants card, and there are several more of Willie's cards pictured below.
