After years of spotty success, and tours of duty in Mexico, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan, Jose emerged as the best reliever in the International League with Norfolk in 2004, and was rewarded with a June callup to the Mets. He's shown here on his card from the 1995 Topps Traded set.
