Dave was a member of the expansion Padres in 1969, and two years later had an outstanding season for them, winning 14 games and posting a sparkling 2.10 ERA. Two years later as a member of the Astros, he reached his career high in victories with 17, and also was a 16-game winner once with the Tigers. Pictured is an autographed card from 1978 SSPC from when he was with the Cubs. Do you get the idea he changed addresses frequently? At the end of his career he pitched for six different clubs in five years, and was in the right place at the right time at the end of 1979, making his only post-season appearance with the Pirates.
