The Mets had high hopes for Les, but he didn't quite make it. There were two other rookie pitchers that appeared together on a 1968 Topps card for the Mets who did pretty well, though: Jerry Koosman and Nolan Ryan. This is Les's rookie card, of course, from 1968 Topps.
