Razor Shines
Anthony Razor "Ray" Shines
Batted: Both
Threw: Right
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 210 lbs.
Born: July 18, 1956 in Durham, NC
Drafted: 18th round 1978 by the Montreal Expos
I don't know how close this is to record-setting territory, but Razor played a total of 68 games in the big leagues and never, ever scored a run. The Mets hired him as third-base coach for 2009, evidently hoping he would have better success telling his players how to get to a place he had never been himself. Pictured on 1986 Topps.
