Warren was one of the greatest left-handed pitchers ever, and his total of 363 victories is the most by any southpaw. He won 20 or more games in a season 13 different times! He played and coached briefly for the Mets in 1965 after his long, long run of success with the Boston and Milwaukee Braves. He's shown here on his 1952 Topps card (which was given to me by my father; he had found it in a scrapbook). More vintage cards are pictured below.
