Departed: traded to the Philadelphia Phillies for Wayne Graham, Gary Kroll, and cash, August 1964
The first Frank Thomas. He was also the Mets' first power threat; in 1962, he led the club in runs, hits, doubles, homers, RBIs, total bases, and slugging. Despite slumping significantly in '63, he again led the Mets in runs batted in. Frank is shown here on a Red Man tobacco card.
