Former first-round draft pick by the Phillies, Eric made the club on the last day of Spring Training 2004 when the Mets traded Roger Cedeno. I picked the card shown here because it is, as far as I know, the only card in my collection showing a player as a member of the Piedmont Boll Weevils. There is also a card pictured below that shows him playing for the Mets (very hard to find, I might add).
