Departed: traded to the Houston Astros with Jeremy Griffiths for Richard Hidalgo, June 2004

 

Joined the Mets as a free agent during the December meetings in 2001 to shore up the bullpen and fill the void left by Turk Wendell after his mid-2001 trade to the Phillies. He more than accomplished that, as he was one of the bright points in the Mets' dismal 2002 season. This is David's 1995 Topps Stadium Club card.
