Departed: traded to the Philadelphia Phillies with Dennis Cook for Bruce Chen and Adam Walker, July 2001

 

Mets fans were routinely thrilled for 3½ years by Turk slamming the rosin bag down behind the mound, fanning a flailing opponent, and then skipping across the baseline on his way back to the dugout. Pictured in full bear-claw and antler-tip regalia here on his 1999 Fleer Tradition card.
