Ty made his New York debut with a flourish, as he collected four hits in his first big-league start, including a double and a three-run homer. He went on to become a valuable player and a fan favorite in New York until he was traded to the Pirates for Kris Benson in 2004. Pictured here is his card from the 2001 Norfolk Tides team set.
