I'm just floating this out there to see if anyone is interested in taking a bite. I enjoy the baseball card shop very much, but if someone wanted to take it over, I would be able to leave the business with no regrets, especially with my new responsibilities with the churches and the novels.
I am willing to sell my entire inventory of cards in the shop, including all of the computer files, and even the rights to the name "Rounding Third" if you want it. If you already have a shop of your own, and you just want the inventory, that's fine. I will hold nothing back; it's all available, in one lot only. Make me an offer, and I'll let you know if it's ridiculous or acceptable. Shipping arrangements will have to be decided between us, but I'll even deliver everything, within reason.
For prospective buyers, do not fear: My web pages are always kept up-to-date, so if you see an item listed online, there's at least a 99% chance that it's still available. The only exceptions would be for cards that are currently in the process of being sold, and the occasional mistake that I make. And I also have quite a few cards that I have not gotten around to listing online yet; they will be included as well.
Serious inquiries only. Please send me an email with questions or offers. I am also willing to entertain offers if someone should wish to purchase every item in The New York Mets Hall of Records in one lot only.
Thanks much,
Bob Tompkins
